Has Bush made Pakistan a safer or more dangrous place?
If you answer that Bush's policies and actions have made Pakistan a far more dangerous and unstable place, then does he not bear at least some responsibility for what happened today? Should he not be held at least criminally negligent?

2. That's actually a tough call.

Bush has supported Musharraf through and through, but whether that has increased instability in Pakistan or prolonged the inevitable demise of the military junta is tough to say.

More to the point, no, I don't think the policies of a world leader -- Bush or otherwise -- should lead to criminal negligence charges. First, it's impossible to prove in court, and second, it sets an incredibly dangerous precedent that could be used in the future by evil men to remove good leaders from office.

3. There's plenty of other crimes to convict Bush of in court
As far as this one, I'm willing to convict him in the court of public opinion.

6. Oh, I'll certainly grant you that.
Clear-eyed, tough investigations by Congress would send Bush down the river a hundred times over.

4. *Safe* is a concept that has never been a major concern with BushCo.

It's all about *Spin*. Always has been, always will be.
