Can you imagine a worse outcome for the Bushies than to have one of their Key Allies in the War on the Americanm People Captured?

No more boogeyman to scare the gullible with. And, of course, the terrible risk of a public trial in which Bin Laden revealed what was discussed in his July 2001 Dubai Meeting with the Bushies.
