Meet BuckBill the Platypus: Platitudinous Moralizing vs. Platypusinous Absurdity
Edited on Thu Dec-27-07 04:25 PM by CorpGovActivist
The Clinton Campaign has apparently put out its word/phrase of the day: can you say, "platitudinous moralizing," boys and girls?

Let's use it in a campaign-approved sentence, shall we?

"Anyone who suggests that the Clintons should be held to a common sense standard on transparency regarding the Clinton Foundation donor lists is engaging in 'platitudinous moralizing'."

Very good, boys and girls!

Now, let's bring the trolley out of the Kingdom of Make Believe, and learn another term, shall we?

"Platypusinous absurdity"

Let's use that in a sentence, too.

"Clinton supporters who would otherwise love to see the Bush Library donor lists revealed, but who cannot say so because of the obvious double standard when applied to the Clintons are engaging in 'platypusinous absurdity,' and are wet behind the ears."

1. No no no, I'm sure all those people started using that phrase INDEPENDENTLY!
I mean, it's not as if they enforce conformity of thought
and shout down any opinion that deviates from their party
line, right?
