global warming, not only warms areas up, it causes climate changes. It causes places to more extreme cold as well as hot. And it changes the Gulf Stream which if you remember warms the East Coast AND THE COAST OF ENGLAND.

We're supposed to get six plus inches, and we'll hear the same thing about global warming. We saw global climate change in action a couple of weeks ago with the ice storm, in previous years that would have been snow.
Ask these trogs if they'd rather have ice or snow.

and I begin to understand the other reason why Great-grandpa/ma loaded the 8 youngest kids (of 10) into a wagon and moved to California in 1908.

Grandpa commented on Kansas winters: you haven't experienced true cold until you have the "trots" in the middle of a snow storm and the outhouse is 'way out back.

The other reason they came west was lack of land/money- the old coot died and disinherited G-GP... left him $1.00. That was for marrying the woman he loved, instead of the wealthy widow GGGP had picked out.
