dumbfucker

'Mr. Huckabee said Friday that “we have more Pakistani illegals coming across our border than all other nationalities, except those immediately south of the border.”

if it ain't about Jesus, he's clueless

he also didn't have a clue that marshall law had been lifted in Pakistan....

That's what fundamentalism does to people. They live in a bubble created by their religions.

4. Huckabee reminds me of..
... a televangelist. He's got something to sell, he's gonna use Jesus to sell it, and the facts are not important.

If America elects a bozo like this, we deserve whatever comes of it, which will not be good.

7. C-SPAN Caller...Evangelical = Codeword
This was a Huckster acolyte claiming that not only is the "secular, "librul" media" trying to tear the Huckster down, but so are the Repugnicans. And I agree...the fundies scare the "establishment" (translation: just plain corrupt) Repugnicans as thsir monster is eating their inept party alive.

Yep, Huckster's clueless...but name me a Repugnican who isn't. If they had a clue, they wouldn't be a Repugnican!

9. He (or his handlers) are trying to tie all the red meat issues together....
A while ago he tied abortion with illegal immigration (if the millions of babies hadn't have been aborted in the last 20 or so years, we wouldn't need migrant workers). Oy.

If he can link abortion, illegal immigration, terrorism and gay marriage together, he's achieved his nirvana.

remember GW Bush in 2000?

He could not name the Prime Minister of Canada, and in a Glamour magazine interview, thought the Taliban was a rock group.

11. Some addage goes that it is a dangerous man who does not know what he
does not know.

Governor Huckabee has never needed to know much and doesn't seem about to undertake a re-examination now.

15. Well, to most Republicans
who think that War is Peace, Up is Down, Freedom is Slavery, and Ignorance is Strength, the idea of building large walls around the United States to keep out Pakistanis sneaking in from Mexico is a stroke of genius. Better be careful, though. If he reads another map upside down, he might get north and south confused and just keep out the Alaskans.

He's like something out of a Flannery O'Connor short story. Yeah, he's a dumbfucker. But then he is a Republican.

17. This is Democrats end up losing--Huckabee knows exactly
what he is doing. The GOP are oh so clever. This is how they
keep their followers feafful of "foreigners". Subltly implying
a whole group potential terrorists.

Calling him strupid and other names solves nothing and we continue
to hand GOP elections.

20. The GOP/conservative stalwarts are scared shitless
of Huckabee getting the nomination. He is gaining on Romney, based on his appeal to the fundies.

21. Actually, despite my earlier
comments I have been worried about Huckabee since I first saw him of The Daily Show. Frankly, I don't think that the Dems can botch this election ( though we are known for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory), but it is in the governorships, local elections, representatives and senatorial races that a Huckabee candidacy endangers us. In next year's elections the Dems could really take over and knock the right wing pretty far back and give the Dems clear control of the House, Senate and White House for what could be a long time. He is the only one who fires up their base and while he has no real chance of winning the general, he will get the activist fundamentalist vote back into the picture, particularly if we go with a candidate that our hard core base will vote for but not knock on doors for. In close races - house, senate, governorships, a lot of local elections - that is the difference.

My ex-sister-in-law is a fundy Republican from Ohio. If Guiliani, Romney or anyone but Huckabee is the nominee, she could very well sit out the election. If he is the nominee, she will work her ass off. The very people she gets out to vote might vote for a Dem in the presidential, but will fall back to the Republican further down the ticket. She is sharp enough and committed enough to knock on doors with that in mind.

the clueless one thinks Pakistan's eastern border is with Afghanistan.
