Putin, Petraeus, Rice or Gore: Conservatives and Progressives Split on Person of Year
Edited on Sat Dec-29-07 12:17 PM by CorpGovActivist
This Rasmussen Report is a microcosm of the national case of schizophrenia.

"Person of the Year: http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/current_events/general_current_events/person_of_the_year_democrats_would_have_picked_gore_republicans_rice_or_petraeus">Democrats Would Have Picked Gore, Republicans Rice or Petraeus"

2. Just waiting for the headline someday: "Satan wins Republican
Popularity Contest". It makes just as much sense as their other choices.

13. Kant!
Love the sig line. The categorical imperative is still a good way to craft a political philosophy.

11. General Overbite, the political puppet who "lost" hundreds of thousands
of small arms and weapons? (In truth, I think he gave them out to various tribal groups as a bribe for his "Concerned Citizen" scheme.) The one who insists that it's his troop-heavy, brilliant "counterinsurgency" tactics that are successful, but is largely quiet about the fact that he's BRIBING vast numbers of Iraqis with a monthly paycheck, and putting up walls and checkpoints everywhere--in short, a totally artificial quick-fix that will fall apart under the next administration? THAT Petraeus? Eh, they can have him.
