John's January Juice: An Idealist Grasp of the Issues
Edited on Sat Dec-29-07 01:25 PM by CorpGovActivist
While Hillary and Barack slug it out over who has enough crows' feet to be President, John has demonstrated an idealist grasp of the issues and worries facing ordinary Iowans.

http://johnedwards.com/issues/

http://www.hillaryclinton.com/issues/

http://www.barackobama.com/issues/

While perusing these sites, note one very telling detail about who espouses "open government" vs. "closed government" (a.k.a., "more of the same," or "trust us, we know what we're doing"): http://johnedwards.com/search/?mode=perform_search&keywords=women">which site has a SEARCH feature, allowing you - the voter - to search on the policy issues that are important to YOU? Conversely, which sites expect you to take what is spoonfed to you, without interactivity?

That's just one small reason why John has the January Juice.

4. The recent McClatchy/MSNBC Poll shows Edwards Leading and attributes support to...

http://www.newsobserver.com/politics/politicians/edwards/story/852629.html

"Edwards, pushing a people-versus-the powerful message, owes his gains to voters looking for a general election winner, someone who agrees with them on the issues and those who rank Iraq as their top concern. Key demographic slices for him include men and union members.

Of note: More Iowa Democrats have a favorable impression of him -- and fewer have an unfavorable impression of him -- than of any other candidate."

5. As You Have Probably Surmised...
... I've come around to him as my choice (much to my surprise, I dropped Clinton). While I remain open and amenable to new facts until I push the "Cast Ballot" button, I suspect Edwards will be my choice, based on his policy stances on the issues I care most about, his realistic chances of carrying border/Upper Appalachian/swing states, and his finely-alloyed message of hope and calling pigs pigs.
