Do we have a persuasive argument?
Edited on Sun Dec-30-07 10:58 AM by Toots
It seems to me Democrats have the fear of losing voters to the Republican's persuasiveness. That somehow Republicans will convince Americans that Democrats are "weak on National Security" or "anti American" or "tax and spend" or ???? That Republicans are "Strong Leaders" "Good Managers" "Devout","Adults".... Being afraid of the Republican bullying echo chamber is preventing Democrats from moving America forward...Is our cause, our argument, so weak that we are afraid to go toe to toe...I guess pragmatism says let time be the judge...I guess I am just too anxious for justice to fully grasp the whole depths of their fears...But a whole year has gone by and not much to cheer about and remember they are only elected for two years so you would think they would find a little urgency as the second year is spent mostly campaigning. I know the Senate has longer terms but time is a wasteing...

2. The gop intends to eliminate Social Security & Medicare, escalate
the war in Iraq, outlaw abortion, send the more jobs overseas, & do nothing about the environment.

What else do you need?

5. If you look at the polls
Republicans and the present administration has people really angry. 70% of them want Cheney and Bush impeached. Will Congress have the moral fiber to do it?
