What is Next for Pakistan?

The People of Pakistan will be coming out of three bloody days of mourning their slain Leader. What will the next few days bring? Mushy is being pressured by chimpy to move forward with the Jan. 8th elections despite the lack of an opposition leader. Mushy is damned at this point. If he holds the elections, he will be hated after he wins the essentially un-opposed vote. If he suspends elections in will appear he is returning to Martial Law. The extremist want him dead. Now, the Populace blames him for Bhutto's death.

If violence in the streets increases, will we see a return to a much bloodier Emergency Rule? In effect, a Civil War? How long can mushy survive these conditions? Will we see another military coup?
