I bought a new 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid last Friday.

It's the first hybrid I've owned. Any tips / blogs / advice you can share would be greatly appreciated.

1. congratulations on an excellent choice

nothing to add but a friend has one and loves it. he commutes about 60 miles each way mostly hiway and if he tries he can get the 60 or so miles he was told it would get but he drives more aggressive and still gets better than 40, which I wish either of our vehicles would. Many happy miles I see in your future no doubt ;-)

2. I have a Prius and there is a way to drive to get better mileage-not sure this

3. I got rid of my 2003 civic hybrid: low quality build and uncomfortable seats

after a year that car had more rattles from poorly attached parts than my 10 year old pickup truck which had none, and the seats were just like the ones on the cheapest regular civic. good mileage but hated to drive it. net result, no sale. did get high trade in on it though.
