2. That's interesting because physicians were lobbied hard by the Republicans in 2000 and 2004.

I know a number of physicians who voted for bushco in 2004 because of intense lobbying that painted Edwards as an ambulance-chaser responsible for high malpractice premiums.

In fact, Edwards's cases were legitimate cases of malpractice, usually against manufacturers who had sold outrageously unsafe equipment that killed and maimed people. But the lies stuck, and a lot of docs were convinced to support w again.

So this bumpersticker is interesting.

6. Not only that, but they were victims of an RNC con job

that said they'd received some sort of wonderful award for their service but needed to send a certain amount of money to cover handling costs so it could be sent out to them.

A lot of docs fell for it, too.

9. That IS interesting. My doctor's office had GOP propaganda

bullshit brochures on their reception desk counter right before the '04 election. I almost walked out, but was too damn sick with a sinus infection.:(

That doctor may be sick of G.W. Bush, but I bet he/she votes repuke in '08....it's the tax cuts, stupid.;)
