A comment on the nature of Internet opinions, with a photograph even!
Edited on Sun Dec-30-07 08:16 PM by DS1
A few years ago a FlickR user *FlickR is a photo community ran by Yahoo, where people can share, talk, discuss photography* uploaded a famous photographic masterpiece and called it "Mario's Bicycle", without any hint of its history. It's by Henri Cartier-Bresson.

After it was voted that it should be deleted, the ensuing pile-on about it being crap, is blurry, not composed well, uninteresting, not sharp enough, contrived is not only amusing, but highlights the fact that often times so-called experts on the Internet don't know shit about shit.

Here's your photo:

So, there's a grain of salt to help ease down all the shit-flinging going on here tonight.

2. The problem with the internet is, any jackass can and will ape the weighty tones of an expert
And can two-minute-Google himself out of any thorny questions people ask to test his "expertise."
