Poll question: Will Edwards surprise us?

Several months ago, I told someone that my gut told me that the Democrats would end up nominating Edwards.

Partly, I felt that there would be a certain "chicken out" factor involved. The stakes will be too high for some primary voters to take a chance on a minority or woman candidate this time around. I also felt that Edwards is a more appealing candidate than his poll numbers at the timed seemed to indicate.

So, even though I liked (and still like) Obama best, my feeling was that Edwards would be the eventual nominee. I later decided that my prediction was all wet. But now, I think I might have been right the first time.

So... WAS I right back then? Will Edwards surprise us and get the nomination?

I said to my friend from work -- "He is going to be our next president".

I am not psychic by any means, it was just a gut feeling. I still have it. May just be indigestion though. :P

3. no. he has a very slim chance of doing so.

And I'm tired of explaining the nuts and bolts logistics as to why, but they have to do with limited resources and a lack of enthusiasm for him in key demographics in key states.
