What other Unity08 ideas can we come up with?

Since the wise-old men are now telling us we need to move past partisanship (i.e., let the Republicans do whatever they want and stop complaining), maybe we should just eliminate all conflict entirely. So, in a tribute to this upcoming conference in Oklahoma, I think we should all work to expand the idea to realms other than politics. I'll start: how about a Unity08 Superbowl? Michael Bloomberg can preside over the coin toss (both sides need to be the same) and the two teams agree to play the game without tackling anyone. Now, if one side decides to break the rules and tackle, the other side is prohibited from calling foul.

1. I didn't think Bloomberg was working with Unity08

the online organization that has been working for over a year to get people and funding together. Of course, their idea is to have the people decide upon a platform and then make the candidates stick to it--couldn't see Bloomberg liking the idea of having to listen to the peasants--er, people.

That being said, I checked out Unity08 for a while, in my capacity as webmaster for a Sam Waterston website. I think it generated a lot of interest at first, but haven't heard much from it lately--and only occasional swipes at it in the media, whose pundits have declared it dead in the water. Now granted, Bloomberg has money, but it also takes organization to go anywhere. I don't see his candidacy doing much of anything, unless he plans to steal the election like Bush did the last two times.
