Aren't a lot of candidates exaggerating their "experience"?
Imagine if Laura Bush totalled up the years she's been the wife of a Governor or a President and counted that as experience.

Hillary Clinton has 8 years as a Senator.

John Edwards has had one term as a Senator.

Barack Obama has had one third of a term as a Senator.

Aren't these three the least experienced of the eight? :hide:

1. It's laughable when you compare it to the "lower tier"
the top three are better at getting attention. that's about it.

4. Thank you.
It feels like listening to people pumping up their resumes-- I remember a recruiter who looked at my resume and said you only had 6 years of experience doing such and such, but it was really intense experience, wasn't it?

2. I agree. I think the experience argument is moot btw them.
They should STFU about it since Richardson, Dodd, Biden, and Kooch ALL have more.

3. Candidates are like men talking about their joysticks. They're always
described as broader, stronger, and more fulfilling than they really are.

5. Gee, I bet if I had made that same comment
talking about womens breasts I'd get slapped down as a sexist misogynist asshole..

But don't let that stop you from making sexist generalizations. We men have fucked up everything else :eyes:

10. Candidates are like women talking about their offspring. They're
always described as smarter, more clever, and more charming than they really are.

9. There's a difference between having ten years of experience
and having one year of experience ten times.
