Code Pink Austin at a Karl Rove event - pictures

Members of CODEPINK Austin descended upon the Renaissance Austin Hotel to protest the presence of Karl Rove at the Associated Republicans of Texas fundraising dinner. Several members protested with signs in the lobby while a 30-foot banner was launched from the 3rd floor balcony, lifted by 120 red, white & blue balloons.






Immediately following the banner launch, 400 Rovebucks showered down from the 6th floor balcony onto the unsuspecting Republicans and hotel guests below.
