1. Seriously look at retiring
I resolve to look at my budget and if at all possible, retire. Then go work at Sears or somewhere I don't have to test any kids. LOL

Get my weight to a good level.

Find someone or at least put in a great effort toward doing so.

next New Year's Eve -- a Democratic president waiting in the wings and Ted Stevens and Don Young gone. This year I feel kind of in limbo.

15. X posted from Lounge, but with revisions
Edited on Mon Dec-31-07 06:47 PM by Mike03
I'm always trying to improve myself, year round, but my resolutions for 2008 are:

1) Quit chewing nicotine gum (!! - Hardest)
2) Eat broccoli every single day (with tomatoes, which I already eat in abundance)
3) Read and understand medical textbooks about anatomy, physiology and all aspects of disease.

The thing I'm always working towards is to master a certain form of meditation (Buddhist) called Dzogchen and to make the experience of emptiness a permanent part of my life rather than something I only experience in concentrated bursts. That is so much a priority in my life that I forgot to even mention it in the post in the lounge--like forgetting that you see the nose on your own face. If I could accomplish this, none of the other resolutions would matter.
