14. I was in Schweinfurt a few years back during New Years Eve.

The town square is huge and straight out of the 18th century despite the town getting pounded during WWII.

Several thousand people stood around lighting off fire works often shooting them straight across the courtyard to people on the opposite side. I wasn't that crazy about having fireworks shot at me but it was a fun evening.
