Usually I don't watch these early newscasts but today I got home early and watched Chris M. and Elizabeth Edwards...and then Tucker. When, I wonder, will we get news and useful information rather than sexism and patronizing statements like "Elizabeth, you have a great face" from Matthews and complete idiocy from the bow tie boy. When? Put this on the agenda for the next Democratic President of the United States...give us the 4th Estate back as it should be, otherwise, I fear, our country is gone. The coverage of this election is outrageous.

1. When one stops to think about it, the media is arguably the biggest single problem we face
If people knew the truth about our election practices, torches and pitchforks would be the weapon of choice for We the Peasants.

If people knew the truth about our how we got into Iraq, torches and pitchforks would be the weapon of choice for We the Peasants.

If people knew the truth about why Gramma's health care non-coverage has her eating cat food, torches and pitchforks would be the weapon of choice for We the Peasants.

If people knew the truth about our how the mortgage crisis became a crisis, torches and pitchforks would be the weapon of choice for We the Peasants.

etc.

etc.

Make up your own affirmations ....... its fun.

2. Matthews is a pig
I'm usually not so harsh when I speak about Chris Matthews, but I thought his behavior today was appalling. Elizabeth Edwards should have gotten up and walked out.

He's almost as much of a bully as Bill O'Reilly. His mind is made up about virtually everything and it doesn't matter how much evidence is given to contradict what he says; in his mind, he's always right.

Chris Matthews: Charm-free.
