Make calls for Edwards from home:
http://www.johnedwardsphonebank.com

For those of you who can't make a difference in any other way than blogging (like me) from home.

I live in the District of Columbia. If I can convince three other people to vote in the remaining big 3 primary/caucus states, I feel I will have done my part. How about you?

1. I must ask again, how are the callers vetted? Why can't saboteurs sign up?
I understand the info the request up front, I have been to the website. My question is, what other winnowing process do they have.

:P

You're not old! :D

They had special software, a program that you had to log into and then the names and phone
numbers would come up, one at a time, and you had to check off the out come of the call.

ie.

not home

busy signal

they will attend the rally ./

they will volunteer

they will donate

etc...

like that! ;)

You couldn't go to the next name until you checked off the outcome of the call.

They also give you examples of what to say. It was fun and the people I called were really nice!

They were all people that had contacted the Kerry Campaign at one point or another.

No cold calls. ;)
