I just do not buy the lines Chuck Todd of MSNBC just gave out, that Obama would reap the large African American vote in S.C. because he is black, and his analysis the other day that Hillary would reap large numbers of votes because women would vote for her because she is a woman.

People in this country are concerned about their jobs, their homes, their children's education, poverty, minimum wage, and a whole host of issues that are not divided by racial and sexual lines.

Racial and sexual identification may exist, but to say that minorities or women will vote for a candidate only on that basis is insulting, and IMHO just wrong.

As the economy continues to plunge, I think people will begin to listen much closer to what the candidates are saying they will do as President and pay less attention to what the candidates look like.

2. The Corporate Media Is Completely Isolated from Every Day Americans
Recall how the audience laughed out loud at Charlie Gibson's question during the Dem debate last Saturday. The topic was repealing Bush's tax cuts, and Charlie was trying to describe a typical American family, two professors each making $100K a year. The audience cracked with laughter.

3. If people vote based on the horrible economy, they'll vote for Edwards
However, the media is terrified of him and his words. They are corporations after all.

4. i'm an older white woman who supports obama.
according to the polls, i should be supporting hillary.

that being said, if hillary is the nominee i will support her. i think the most important thing is that a dem wins.

i think the dems basically all want the same thing.
