I like how bananas fit our hands.
And so easy to peel, even chimpanzees and freepers can do it.

2. I think that you're on to something. That's a widely underestimated advantage of bananas.
Try eating a pomegranate while you drive. We'd all be dead by now!

15. When I was a cyclist, bananas were the perfect food for the ride.
On long rides I'd eat four bananas. Had a fellow cyclist who took apples with him until he wrecked and landed on one. He took bananas with him after that.

6. well, that would explain the freeper Youtube vid
explaining why the Banana is proof of God, that he made bananas as the perfect food ...

even freepturds can eat them ... more or less ... however, it is an insult to the chimpanzees ...

19. funnily enough pineapples are the strongest argument for deivine creation to me,
Not all that strong of course - it's like saying it's the best 90lb sumo wrestler - but it's an irrationally good taste to be natural. ;)

17. Ray Comfort - a nice guy but a typical fundy idiot
I filled in as a debate opponent for him in a Christian bookstore a couple years back - he started off with that whole atheist has to prove God doesn't exist schtick and then the "watchmaker" argument. He's a pleasant chap in person but he's using very outdated and easily dismissable arguments like this that sell only to the already convinced (these being the ones who buy his books, that's quite likely to be just fine by him if not the whole point).

His banana bit would of course be far more compelling if the banana we see in grocery stores wasn't an entirely artificial sterile human-produced mutant bred especially for that purpose, and if "wild" bananas were not damnably inconvenient to eat being full of many rock hard seeds.

I opened my jar of peanut butter this morning, and it still hadn't evolved. I'm tired of supporting candidates who believe in the discredited theory of evolution.
