John Edwards needs a win or a close second in Nevada and
I hope he gets it even though I don't support him. His message is that important to keep out there and it deserves greater coverage. If he meets with success in Nevada, the press will start covering him like mad, and his message will start realy getting out there. That would be good for the race and good for democracy.

So even though I think Edwards doesn't have much chance of winning the nomination even if he does win it, I'm hoping he'll do well on Saturday and shake up the Obama/Clinton narrative.

1. You support his message, but not him?
I guess you have your reasons, but I find that kind of curious.

2. I support a lot of what he says
but I don't much like a lot of what he's done, and I simply will not vote for someone who lacked the judgment to vote against the IWR and who supported that vote and the war until just 2 years ago. At least not in the primaries, I won't.

5. I agree
As a progressive I like much of what he is saying today but I can't get past his IWR vote. I also still have flashbacks to his VP debate in 2004. As I saw it Cheney ate him alive. I was so disappointed.

6. I was there, too, ursi !
:hi:

It was a good crowd, and Edwards did a great job.

Did you happen to catch Obama Monday? I'm wondering what kind of crowd he drew.

7. Was that this afternoons rally?
I was just on a conference call for the PA kickoff with his campaign and they said that there were "over 1,500 in an afternoon event in Nevada today". They didn't mention the city.
