Anyone know what tax breaks are attached to the senate version of the min. wage bill?
I can't seem to find it anywhere.

1. Small Business
The tax package is designed to help small businesses. There was never a chance that the minimum wage bill would get through the Senate without it. Good news is the line item veto amendment was killed.

7. GOP filibuster...
Not enough votes for cloture, and the GOP won't end the filibuster without the amendment in place. They're trying to poison-pill the minimum wage increase, but couldn't get enough votes for the line-item veto to beat cloture, so they're using this amendment.

Exactly--the democrats could not get 60 votes to invoke cloture without the small business tax package.
