Is it exhausting to have to dress up and do all that bullshit schmoozing every night, meeting with assholes and pretending you like them and give a shit what they're selling? Sure it is. But it's not WORK, and they get paid a ridiculous salary with benefits worth more than most Americans' annual salaries. Oh, and vacation time that would make an elementary school teacher jealous.

Don't get on me about not knowing what I'm talking about...I may not be a Congress Critter, but I've played that fund raising game, and have been damned good at it. It sucks, you're away from the family too much...but all you're doing is eating nice dinners, attending lavish parties and kissing fat hairy asses hoping to suck some money out of their wallets. It's exhausting, but it's not WORK.
