Q) What's worse than "Tax & Spend Liberals?"...
Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 04:10 AM by Indi Guy
A) "Tax-cut & spend Conservatives!"

For the seven years these hypocrites have been in power, they've been squandering our childrens' future -- while cutting taxes on the wealthiest Americans (the ones who can most afford to pay their fair share).

While I'm certainly no fiscal liberal (I don't like the fed taxing or spending any more than is absolutely necessary) ...if I have to hold my nose and vote for the lesser of two evils -- I'll vote for the spender who has the (dirt simple) common sense to at least fund the friggin' spending!

Have I lost contact with reality here, or does this make sense???

1. Borrow and spend is the correct term.
The deficit caused by tax cuts for the rich is paid for by loans, largely from communist China.

Republicans put the Nation into ruinous debt for short-term gain, haul ass, and let Democrats clean up the steaming pile they leave behind. It's become a pattern.

Democrats aren't allowed to get away with the hilarious spending (and wage and price controls, thank you Nixon) that Republicans have become famous for. It seems funny, but voting for a Democrat, especially a centrist (possible center-right) candidate like Obama, will result in less government involvement in the economy than voting for a Republican!
