Let's not forget the BS that Alberto Gonzalez is spouting --
I seriously wonder how that man can say this without irony or laughter. I think his position on habeas corpus is one of the scariest things they've come up with yet. With everything else that's going on let's not forget what our attorney general is out there spouting

“The Constitution says you can’t take it away except in case of rebellion or invasion. Doesn’t that mean you have the right of habeas corpus unless there’s a rebellion or invasion?”

Gonzales continued, “The Constitution doesn’t say every individual in the United States or citizen is hereby granted or assured the right of habeas corpus. It doesn’t say that. It simply says the right shall not be suspended” except in cases of rebellion or invasion."

This is scary shit

2. Oh, that is sooo unfair to The Wayner.
But that tactic of Gonzalez's is dangerous. People I know in the legal world say it's bullshit. You can't take something away from someone unless they have it to take away. By stipulation, they have it.

Our AG is a very dangerous man. Just like our President.

3. They think we're stupid.
It's amazing how arrogant they still are.

I can't fathom the books that are going to be written about these creatures. I wish I could fathom just one court that will knock them off their perch.
