Only in America would we think it not a conflict of interest that Rice was paid handsomely for being on the board of Chevron from 1991 until she resigned to go to work in the Bush White House. How worried can she be about the deteriorating position of the United States in the world when her oil company buddies are doing so well?

Journal the Shell oil Baron sat at the table for a short time. short version: he wants us to let him drill in the gulf of mex., natl. parks, etc.. somehow his tongue was split and he said absolutely not were we running out of oil / prices would really go up if they can't drill, etc., etc.

and they really didn't make all that profit it just seems like they did.
