these Cops put a capital "P" on "Pig"... this is so strange, are we getting into the "Shock Doctrine", before the election.. read naomi Klein's, "the Shock Doctrine"... are they starting here with what they developed in Argentina/Chile/Uruguay/El Salvador/Guatemala brutalizing people publicly to scare the rest of us into submission, then torturing 10's of thousands to death to keep us submissive,

how many fear the police, fear tasars, being hurt deliberately if you tell them you have a back injury if they start escalating on you.. and throw you down and drive a knee into your herniated disk, i have shoulder damage, i cant put either arm behind my back, i have an amputation reattachment of my left hand, i am scared shitless of those fuck'n Nazi's, if i scream because they break the encapsulations in my joints that cant move in my back, arms and wrist, i will be charged with resisting arrest, and will be tortured into cuffs, and thrown into a back seat on top of my injuries.. i could become totally disabled and unable to care for myself or my family.

i fear the police more all the time

14. I just find it odd that despite that female officers were involved...
you singled out male officers in your subject line.

15. it wouldnt have been a crime if the males hadn't been there, why do you neglect that fact, if there
is a reason to strip search, same sex officers are required to do it, this was sexual assault. leaving her naked for hours refusing her a phone call, is a torture technique, also the males stripping her is a torture technique.

so you are saying this was ok..?? attacking me on what you see as a technicality, where i see it as a criminal sexual assault and torture...??

5. Okay, let me get thist straight.
They did this to her because she handed them her dead sister's driver's license? My God, what is wrong with these insane cops!!! She called them for help!

There have been far too many stories like this lately.

If we can't trust cops not to brutalize us for minor infractions when we call 911, what are we supposed to do in emergencies?

9. I was outraged when I saw this on tv. I still am.
When I was a little girl, a very long time ago, I was taught that "the policeman is your friend". There have been so many stories of police brutality that I definitely fear the police today. As I write I'm thinking of cases of tasering and beatings with those sticks the cops carry and I can't remember one where the "prisoner" could even in the smallest sense be regarded as a threat to the cops. Usually way out numbered too. Who do we complain to, the police?

10. This actually DID happen to me> I'm a 64 y.o. disabled vet, ok?
My disability has to do with a hip injury i received in the line of duty resulting ultimately in a botched (by the VA) hip replacement operation, that was cobbled back together during a second operation (NOT by the VA thank God) with wires, metal plates, about 12 screws and a lick and a promise. It's a very dicey situation which, if ever broken again, means wheelchair time for me the rest of my life.

I was an organizer working with the homeless community in Eugene Oregon, who had been camping out in front of the County Courthouse to ask for a safe, legal place to sleep at night, just to have their tents along with maybe a few porto-potties, and to be left alone by the police. This had been going on way longer than the local authorities were comfortable with -- like nearly two weeks as i recall.

One day, as we were holding a press conference in front of City Hall a block away, the guy who was left to watch the homeless peoples' stuff at the courthouse was arrested, and ALL of the campers stuff (their sleeping bags, tents, food, family pictures.. EVERYTHING) was thrown into a large van and taken to the city dump, stolen in broad daylight. So the crowd at the press conference, upon hearing about this, we all went to the Sheriff's office in charge of "lost property", where one is supposed to be able to reclaim stuff that is confiscated ... we occupied the hall way, which turned into kind of a stand off .. until some suited spook started button-holing each person with "did YOU lose anything?" No? Well then "you don't have any business here, you are trespassing, leave the building or you'll be arrested" .. if the answer was "Yes, I lost a sleeping bag and a back pack", then the goon would say, "We don't have those items. Leave the building or you will be arrested" .. around the whole hall way until they got to me, and I finally --rather than be arrested-- allowed a cop to escort me out the nearby doorway to the street. Once outside, I told the cop, "actually I DO have some business in there, I need to file a complaint against you & your buddies for violating my first amendment rights" .. so the cop physically throws me BACK INTO the building, 4 cops jump on top of me, and I started screaming "MY LEG!!! MY LEG!!! GET THE FUCK OFF ME!!" which of course was interpreted as "resisting arrest"... somehow I lucked out and it wasn't broken again.. but damn.. let's just say it left an impression.... and not a very pretty one at that.

I spent the night in jail and all charges were dropped the next day, because they were bogus to begin with.
