The U.S. Marshals Service arrested a man in Newark with alleged ties to a white supremacist group Thursday morning.
Jason Gregg was arrested at 130 1/2 Maholm St., according to a press release from the service’s Southern District of Ohio office. Another man, Jon Carr, was arrested in Gahanna for the same charges. Both were arrested without incident.
The suspects are known members of the Blood and Honour Gang, a white supremacist, neo-Nazi group, the Marshals Service reported. The agency alleged that the two fired gunshots at an Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation agent and another person in Thornville.
Deputy U.S. Marshal Brian Babtist said he didn’t have information about where the men are from or their ages.
