Apparently, he was so livid he did this where the cameras were pointed at him, and someone had the presence of mind to turn them on.

Henry Waxman heard about this and asked for the tape but didn't have the subpoena power to demand it, so he didn't get it.

Now he has the power and should use it.

I'm guessing he could do the financial impact to GE of a Bush vs. Gore win....no doubt the math favored Bush. Damn good reason to reform the corporatization and consolidation of our mass media over the past 20 years. A democracy can't survive when information is politically manipulated.
