Today's must-watch interview: Blitzer interviews Dick Cheney.
TPM has got the transcript. Ol' Snarl is more than a little bit testy.

Wolfie is now 2 for 2 in pissing off people named Cheney. First Lynn, now Shooter.

CNN is probably off the interview list now. :)

2. Wolfie Does Not Give Uncle Dick A Pass.... And Is He Steamed.....
You get to see Uncle Dick's true colors as he snarls at Wolfie.

He has not forgotten how to roll out the discredited reasons as justification for their mistakes.

Hopefully, Cheney will either resign or be forced to step down soon.

Fitzgerald certainly has him in his sites, and Libby's trial will put lots of pressure on Cheney's health as he contemplates being called to testify under oath. THat is one place that lies have consequences, and can get you jail time.

To paraphrase, I think Cheney is in his 'last throes' --and soon we won't have Uncle Dick to kick around anymore.

3. "Bottom line is that we've had enormous successes, and we will continue to have enormous successes."
That was said by Cheney. IF that's what they consider successes, I would sure hate to see failure...

Then again, who knows, they're so far removed from the reality of normal, rational Americans (generally Democrats (Progressives/Liberals)), that their concept of success and failure may be so screwed up... that a "failure" in their estimation would indeed be a healthy, functioning Democracy in which peace reigns and people are cared for... Indeed, their idea of failure might just be losing out on the oil contracts or merely having a government in IRAQ that is actually "independent" (whether it's a healthy, good Democracy or not). I wouldn't put it past them (and no, I don't consider them to be "good" Americans).

read this line from cheney, he is disgustingly rude and arrogant

Q I want to congratulate you on having another grandchild. Let's wind up on a soft note. Nancy Pelosi -- what was it like sitting up there with her last night as opposed to Dennis Hastert?

THE VICE PRESIDENT: I prefer Denny Hastert, obviously. I liked having a fellow Republican in the Speaker's chair. Nancy is now the Speaker of the House. We had a very pleasant evening.
