5. Don't know about the last two
but nothing from moveon or DNC.

W/the exception of Chris Dodd, all of my "presidential campaign" money has gone to Dennis.

C'mon, Cleveland, keep him in our Congress!

6. The committee he would get money from is the DCCC, not the DNC
You should check with them.

8. They support New Democrats and pro-war candidates
only. They did it in IL anyway. If they supported all Democrats we would have a lot more in the Congress today. Dean and Emanuel screwed up big time.

10. It harms all of us when you get committees confused and spread untrue things.
It is just wrong.

The senate committee DSCC supports the senate candidates. The house committee DCCC supports house candidates.

Yes, they do tend to support New Dems...but NOT the DNC. They do not support candidates financially except in selected races.

Right now all the DNC money must go to get ready for convention.

9. They are probably having to put every penny into getting ready for a nominee.
The fundraising has suffered in many ways because the grassroots have let them down. They blamed the DNC for congressional votes they could do nothing about, yet the other committees and the candidates have racked up big money from corporations who see no need to contribute the DNC under Dean's plan.

The problem as many see it is that most do not yet see the true benefit of the 50 state plan. I have a feeling the organizing is responsible in part for the huge turnouts at the polls. There are on the ground plans in place. The salaries cost money.

Dean has outraised other equivalent years, but he is spending on building the party.

Hopefully after there is a nominee, some of the grassroots will donate to the DNC. He was counting on netroots financial support to build the base of the party back, but they chose to blame because Congress did not show a spine. Kind of sad. If there were time, it would work.

Sean Penn. His opponnent is getting a great deal of money in a short period of time. I suspect it is corporate money but have no hard facts.
