1. Cruella McCain wants that spotlight
Please - she's jonesing for the White House. Why would she worry about McDoddering boinking a lobbyist? After all, she's not the one getting slobbered on. And her hair-helmet is still in place. :sarcasm:

9. Yeah, lying just adds insult to injury
C'mon, guys, we know. Sometimes we've chosen to look the other way for various reasons, but we know because you've all been handed the same damn script: emotional distancing, increased criticism, and all those late hours and trips out of town that aren't producing any extra income.

We can choose to look the other way, but if we confront you, be a man and admit it.

Otherwise, you run the risk of being Bobbitized, and some of us have Cuisinarts and can make it permanent.

16. The worse part is the public humiliation.
That would be horrendous and for that, I would want PAYBACK. At least one arm and one leg. lol

22. Rimshots are a joke between us
Edited on Thu Feb-21-08 04:17 PM by Mabus
We were at an event that was pretty boring. There this guy who totally mangled what he was trying to say (he was actually starting to sound like Dan Quayle giving some convoluted explanation of what he meant to say) and then tried to make a joke out of it which really confused the few people who were still listening. That's when my brother lean back and made, what he thought, was a quiet rimshot. Unfortunately for him, the sound carried and everyone looked up and around to see where it came from. Everyone tired to be polite but several people burst out laughing and had to leave the room. We like to make little "rimshots" whenever someone looks really uncomfortable. I know, it's stupid.

12. Yeah, but maybe it's just that your wife knows you too well.
;-)

Let's think about the bigger part of this -- the "scarlet woman's" role as a lobbyist and McCain's aid to the firm she lobbied for.

14. From the looks of her, she's probably happy someone else is taking care of him,
so she doesn't have to.

She is one cold-looking woman. Can't picture her cozying up to anything but
a knife sharpener.
