Does anybody here think this Cunningham (asshole)

McCain (saint)episode wasn't Rovian kabuki theater?

I guess this is what we can expect now, the Sainted McCain "man of integrity"..:puke: will send his right wing attack dogs out to spew the most vile filth, and he'll rise above it all by denouncing it. How original. It was juvenile horseshit when shrubya was doing it to you Senator.

We're onto your little game Gramps, it's not gonna fly.

1. Bill Cunningham is a neo-con wack job. (I'm from Cincy originally)
He used to come to a law firm that I worked for in the early 80's. He was nuts back then.

Say what you want about McCain though, he was quick to shut him down and keep things on the issues. That is more than I can say about the Clinton campaign.

I hope he's sincere. It would bode well for the general.

Maybe they are getting the hint with the migration to Obama by independents and some repubs that the tactics have to change.

We'll see.

2. A little too convenient don't you think?
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 06:10 PM by Virginia Dare
he didn't denounce him from the stage in front of the adoring audience, only in front of the reporters afterwards. Of course, that's getting all of the press play tonight. McCain's a good man, he denounced it...:puke:

12. I know a former accountant for Willies.
Let me just say, if the IRS ever decides to give Billy a proctology exam, he'll be going up the river for awhile. The man makes an illegal waste dump look clean.

3. NO. McLame is many things, but
he has cooperated with both hillary and Barack on many issues, and I think he WAS personally offended by the tone and the words. I don't trust mccain, nor his strafe talc expresso, nor do I want him to be president (Mr. Pitt, did you catch that one?) But, he and Barack actually have a pretty good working relationship. I suspect that no matter who wins, (GOBAMA!) the other senator will still want to maintain good relations.

4. I have as much dislike
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 06:14 PM by vpilot
and lack of respect for McCain as anyone but I would be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one. I won't hold McCain responsible for that douche running his mouth, I heard audio of a-hole Cunningham ragging on McCain for his apology on CNN a few minutes ago. That suggests to me that Cunningham was acting on his own.

6. Just curious, but if this guy was well-known for his..
douche baggery, why did McCain agree to appear with him anyway? I still think this smells.

9. That's a question
best asked of McCain, anything is possible but after hearing Cunningham rag on McCain for his apology I still think I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

10. Sorry, it was rhetorical...
weinerdoggie just said that Cunningham said he was voting for Hillary. Right. The guy's a total nutbag and McCain had no business even sharing a stage with him.

I'll give McCain the benefit of the doubt when he earns it. That's when he doesn't appear at all with asshole haters like that.

8. McCain is not a man of integrity.
He's just another politician with a relatively high sales price. I'd call him a whore but the whores I know all have lots of integrity. oh and if he is a guy with integrity why didn't he apologize to the audience as soon as he hit the stage?
