5. his non endorsement of McCain should say a lot

Hagel was one of the few to support Mccain in 2000. and he should be natural ally considering both really are friends and veterans.

i'm not sure he will endorse Obama but if he did it would not be good for McCain. it might help McCain with some of the wingnuts who don't like him or Hagel but not among indies and moderates.
