Terry Mcauliffe Just said Democrat party on Hardball

If you are running a campaign for the front runner and
use the oppositions language to describe your own party
IMO that is mind blowing.

2. There is absolutely no excuse for that.
Especially given the discussion in the media last night regarding *'s SOTU speech, where he said DEMOCRAT instead of what was printed, DEMOCRATIC.

I hope someone calls Terry on this. It's a GOP maneuver meant to be insulting and demeaning to our party.

3. Him and Donna Brazille both need to move to a foreign country
preferably ones without phones or electricity. They're nothing but dumb.

17. "Him and Donna"? Or "He and Donna"? If we're going to be grammar police.

13. No, it doesn't. It irritates me to no end and by the response on DU
and other leftie sites, I am not the only one. Many on the grassroots level believe the GOP has no right to change the name of the Democratic political party.

5. I don't know, I usually say "Democratic party" but I'm sure there have been
times when I've slipped and I've heard other true blue loyal democrats do it too. Not like the GOP who do it constantly.

for the destruction of adverbs and adjectives from our language. And "verbing" nouns really pissed me off too.

It doesn't surprise me. My trust is "gone with the wind." My hope is with the few remaining progressives.

15. here you go
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democrat_party
goes back to McCarthy its a loaded term meant
to demean the name of the party. Rhymes with Rat
etc, its our opponents attempt at defining us
on their terms and its grammatically incorrect.
I think using such loaded terms to describe our
own party is pretty pathetic.

21. If it was accidental or ignorance, then it isn't a big deal. But it is on purpose.
They paid Luntz big money to come up with the idea.

16. The entire Clinton entourage so far has been pretty arrogant
Frankly, maybe they'r hanging out with too many Republicans, with the example set by the Clinton-Bush lovefest and Hillary's apparently successful moves to be chummy with them in the Senate. (Note to Hillary: skip the drinking games with McCain)

23. Remember that most people don't give a damn about this.

Democratic vs Democrat matters a great deal to a few people on either side, who use and take it as an insult, but to most people it's a complete non-issue.

24. True, however, I am tired...
I agree, this is something that probably only annoys political geeks like myself, however...

I am -damn- tired of taking Republican shit everyday from the politicians and the airwaves, and it is a -mistake- to sit back and smile when someone picks on you. All that does is embolden them to talk more crap about you and others.

I only wish this was the worst I had to get outraged about, but it really is far down the list of more important issues.
