Who at the White House "Green Lighted" The Cheney Interview?!? Story Behind the Story
I hope that someone at CNN interviews Wolf Blitzer about the circumstances that led to his interview. Cheney alludes to the conversation setting up the interview.

1. When did the White House green light it? That would reveal a lot about their mindset going into the SOTU.

2. Who green lighted it? Cheney himself?

3. Who negotiated with Blitzer/his producers? (Not Scooter Libby, I guess.)

Finally, a question that Blitzer probably couldn't answer, but might have thoughts on, nevertheless:

4. What possible objective did the White House think would be served by the interview?

8. Definitely CrashCart, he is just a cold hearted, evil bastard
I'd love to see a stare down between Rummy and DeadEye. Condi would crack after 5 minutes of having Unka Dick give her the hairy eyeball.

3. I Wish Blitzer Had Raised Federal Marriage Amendment...
... since he thought it was none of Wolf's business about his lesbian daughter's pregnancy.

7. I think Chaney's interview was for showing he wasn't backing
Down, to whom it was to reassure? certainly no one in he's administration but perhaps to Israel.
