I'm looking forward to Part 2 tomorrow (Tuesday) night. Tonight's episode, which I hope PBS runs many times before November, shows how Bush&Co, ESPECIALLY Darth Cheney, was so eager to invade Iraq, they weren't going to let little things like facts get in the way of their ambitions. It also documents how then Secretary of State Colin Powell was effectively stonewalled in his efforts to find out the truth about connections between Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein, which as we know now, never existed.

No wonder he quit.

12. What was scary was how Addington and Libby (both Cheney's aids)

have been calling the shots: find something!

And the way we have been treating the detainees at Guantanamo, still do, is really shameful.
