Iraq Was Easy To Resolve But "Greed" Intervened.
As I read yesterday, the Kurds and the Shia have divided the huge oil fields with proven billions of reserves, and HELLO, are selling the rights to American companies. Now if they'd have negotiated to give the Sunni's a piece of the pie.... What would we have?

Oh sh!t, a civilized way to do business. Guess Cheney didn't consider that option when he was with Halliburton or in his latest job as Dr. Evil. His corporate buddies decided they wanted all of the pie for themselves, at the expense of American blood spilling in a foreign land.

In 20 years there will be a McDonald's where Sadaam's statue was torn down, and the PGA will be announcing plans for the Iraqi Open tournament in Basra. Hell, they'll think they're in Arizona - except for the oil dereks, that is.

Where Bush made his mistake was to try to instill democracy (after WMD's, etc, etc.) What he should have been pushing was "Capitalism!" What an ulta-maroon.
