Today the House Judiciary is voting on subpoenas
to compel 4 of the 8 fired U.S. Attorney to testify. Ousted U.S. Attorney David Inglesias of New Mexico claimed that he was canned for political reasons- refusing to comply with two repuke congressmen who wanted him to rush through an indictment that might have helped the repukes in the 2006 election. Inglesias said: "This episode came like a thief in the night," he said of the Dec. 7 request for him to step down. He added, "Obviously, I tripped some wire." He has indicated he'll testify only if he's compelled to do so.

The Senate Judiciary will vote on issuing subpoenas to the same four ousted U.S. Attorneys next week.

1. Is this going to be on cspan or some streaming site?
I'vve been very interested in this story, and I wish they would subpoena all 8 of the fired US Attorneys. This manuver reminds me a lot of the Nixon firings and we all know what THAT lead to!

2. I don't think it'll be on C-Span
at least not if the House is in session, but they might be rcording it for play on the net or for broadcast at a later date. I too, am really interested in this story. Did they can 8 to mask getting rid of one or two? Who were the reps who pressured Inglesias? This could get really interesting.

6. Wasn't the US Attorney that
was involved in the Duke Cunningham case also 'fired'? Or did I dream that?

9. My letter to the Committee
First of all I would like to thank the committee for its work on getting the abusesof the bush administration out in the open.
I have been reading on the nets(DemocraticUnderground in particular) where you are thinking of issueing subpeonas to the recently fired Federal Attorneys. Please subpeona them so they may testify and expose more of bushs misdeeds.Firing prosecutors the wat they did sounds like an attempted coverup of more criminal activitys by the bush administration and as such needs to be exposed to the light of day.
So please subpeona them as soon as possible.

Thank you and I'm looking forward to their testimony.

Please,everyone do the same.
