2. Kerry was not the frontrunner. Neither is Edwards. they were the nominees of 04.
Just to correct you.
It is very early. The actual frontrunner won't be know for a year but, that Hillary is right now front runner.
I don't like her so I am not saying it because I'm rooting for her (perish the thought!)

4. Actually, Edwards IS the frontrunner in the latest Zogby poll.
The numbers that have grabbed tipsters' attention come from a series of recent polls. In a Zogby poll, published last week, Edwards was the preferred candidate of 27per cent of those questioned, ahead of Barack Obama at 17 per cent and Hillary Clinton and Tom Vilsack, Iowa's two-term Governor, at 16 per cent. A poll taken last month put him on 36 per cent.

3. I'm still hoping for Gore, BUT
does anyone else remember Edwards' debate with Cheney in '04?

Edwards was just so nice, so polite, so personable, as he tore Cheney apart. Reminded me of the Billy Joel song "She's so good with her stiletto, you don't even mind the pain."

Edwards was the first one to mention that Lynn Cheney was gay, not Kerry. He did it by complimenting Cheney on how well he accepted the fact his daughter was gay and what a great job he did as a father supporting her even though she was gay. Edwards was so congenial and sincere, Cheney was forced to say "Thank you".

Edwards pointed out what a huge hypocrite Cheney was, and did it so that Cheney could only say "Thank You." THAT's why it became such a big deal when Kerry brought it up! Cheney had been bested by Edwards, and he couldn't handle it!

Yeah, I can support Edwards - BIG TIME!

5. Prior to Kerry's announcement, Kerry was barely registering in the polls.
Kerry's decision not to run will be meaningless.

6. Yep
I believe you are correctI have been watching and or active in Democratic politics since John F. Kennedy and just have a gut feeling John Edward's message is what the voters are waanting to hear especcially after hearing the right wing BS for the lst 5 plus years.
Hillary may have some good ideas but what she says and the way she say it just seems to be so artificial or scripted and she doesn't come
acrros as sincere as Edwards.
