Shame on the press for not letting him have it.. Comparing the widespread devastation's impact on about a million people, with the minor inconvenience of a hundred or so well-off/millionaries is abhorrent,

I'm sure that the players had homes damaged/destroyed too, but they still have jobs..well paid jobs.. their organization looked after them, and I'm sure they all came out just fine, but they are NOT the benchmark to use for the "restoration" of the area...

and then there is Mardi Gras.. I still hear people say, "hey they had Mardi Gras..everything must be "back to normal".:puke:

What a damned idiot!

Think of what Al Gore was doing during Katrina and then think of Bush eating cake at the birthday party!

2. funny ... especially since it was the socialism of the team owners sharing
TV profits, along with the public funds which are always used when it comes to appeasing Republican team owners who think that a 15-year-old stadium needs to be torn down to build a new one ...

I wonder how many NFL teams would be around if it wasn't for the socialist TV profit sharing ...
