Weather vs. War - First Katrina/Rita, now tornadoes traveling

with blizzards; how bad do things have to get before people are more concerned about being protected from the weather than from some theoretical enemy overseas? Not to downplay anyone's grief, but how many people have been killed by the weather vs. terrorists in the last few years? How many homes destroyed? How many people put out of work?

1. I think it will have to get so bad that it has touched every area of the country

before people wake up and realize, "Hey, this affects me personally!"

2. No terrorist ever destroyed an American city.

Or any city. Time to come home and gear up for the real work.

But this administration doesn't have the guts for real work.

3. How many people have died of cancer or lung disease?

We all know at least one. Think of what all that war money could have accomplished.
