7. Can you imagine a Bush turning away from exploiting others, running roughshod
right over them? I know I can't!

With these people, religion never goes inside them anywhere. There ARE no reservoirs of compassion, concern, love, respect for others, and for life waiting to be discovered and activated.

The stubbornness, hardness, coldness, suspicion of others, actual indifference on their faces is real. Their lives bear witness.

8. No you're right on that part but
the base will continue to shrink. Wilberforce et al showed the compassionate side of religion. Remember the bicentenial of the abolition in England is this month.
