A Snowflake man was indicted with the assault of a woman on a U.S. military base in Iraq.

Aaron Langston, 30, allegedly stabbed Gaddam Narayana in the throat on Feb. 15, cutting her jugular vein, according to a U.S. Attorney's office press release. Narayana is from India.

Langston was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and assault resulting in serious bodily injury on Feb. 23.

Langston was at Al Asad Airbase in Iraq employed as a military contractor by Kellogg Brown and Root, authorities said.
