From what I have seen, if a jury is trying to resolve reasonable doubt issues, the Defendant's goose is cooked.
If a jury buys the Defendant's story, there is no need to reach reasonable doubt.

1. I agree, plus, if we can believe what we just heard on Wolfe's show, |
|
"No the presecutor does NOT have to prove that it's impossible for someone to forget!"

2. I agree. Note two does not look good for Scooter |
|
since the Judge will say the standard does not require the Govt to prove its 'not humanly possible' to forget.

I think. Was that the one about wanting a dictionary? Did they say what they wanted a dictionary for exactly?

5. NO. This note was sent to the judge just before the jury left today. |
|
They asked for the definition of "reasonable doubt" and does the presecutor have to prove it's impossible for someone to forget.

That is very important. Judge Walton had responded to the dictionary request by saying if there was a specific term that they needed defined, he would work with both sides to come up with a proper definition for the context of a jury's deliberations.
I can think of no person I would prefer to explain the correct, legal definition of "reasonable doubt" than Reggie Walton. I suspect that he will clarify this on Monday morning in a manner that will help even the most rigid juror understand thaty the prosecution does not have to remove every possible doubt -- only reasonable doubt. And the jury will return the guilty verdicts in the afternoon.

10. All guesses are speculation. Don't get mad at the poster. Fridays |
|
really are pretty standard decision days.
I feel all the info that has been releasedin the last few days has been positive for a guilty verdict, so be patient.
