Biden Trails in Delaware
I believe Obama, HRC, Edwards and Richardson are the only ones who lead in their homestates.

Biden Trails in Delaware
Sen. Joe Biden is running behind Sen. Hillary Clinton by 13 points in his home state of Delaware, according to a new Fairleigh Dickinson PublicMind poll.

Worse for Biden: "Only one in four Delawareans think his chances of winning the nomination are good, and 47% say he would not make a good president."

Clinton leads with 34%, followed by Biden with 21%, Sen. Barack Obama with 19%, and John Edwards with 10%. All other candidates attract support that is not statistically significant among Delaware Democrats.

1. Well...that's not promising. But that said, I really think he's running for Secretary of State
He'd be a good one.

2. He's a good Senator but just does not inspire people at all.
Comes across as way to full of himself.

6. I figured that Biden, Richardson, and Hillary would pick up Vilsack's DLC supporters when he left
the race, but then I realized that that Vilsack didn't have three supporters to divide among Biden, Richardson, and Hillary.

Vilsack left the race shortly after polling showed him tied with "undecided" for fourth place in his home state:

John Edwards 24%
Hillary Clinton 18%
Barack Obama 18%
Tom Vilsack 14%
Joe Biden 5%
Bill Richardson 3%
Wesley Clark 2%
Chris Dodd 1%
Dennis Kucinich 1%
Undecided 14%

Does this poll presage Biden's departure?

7. Hillary leads in NY? You sure about that. I saw a poll today..
with everyone, including Hillary losing to Rudy in NJ. I tend to believe that Rudy would take NY as well.
