2. Do they do so because they're afraid of being deported?

That's one of the two reasons for my posting this. First to show an example of Shamanic healing, and, second to show that immigrants are not using health care services to the extent they are portrayed.

Actually many of them pay income taxes as well as other taxes, but, because of their legal status don't collect tax returns. So immigrants pay as much for or more for through their taxes for services that they don't use near as much as legal citizens. In other words, I don't see any reason for all this fear mongering that we see in the media over immigrants taxing our health care system.
