U.S. drafts Holocaust denial resolution for UN

The United States has drafted a U.N. resolution condemning the denial of the Holocaust, a spokesman said Monday, a month after Iran provoked widespread anger by holding a conference casting doubt on the Nazi genocide of Jews during World War II. According to a copy of the draft made available to The Associated Press, the proposed resolution urges all member states to "reject any denial of the Holocaust ...'"

Is just me, or is the suppression of the right to question a historical event not the same suppression of free speech that the Nazis imposed in Germany, thus allowing them to control all opinion and prevent the truth about the Nazi agenda from being publicly discussed?

Banning '9/11 denial' is next on the list.

If the U.N. doesn't pass the resolution, it gives fodder to the isolationist, right-wing John Birchers who hate Jews anyway. And if the U.N. does pass it, then it's another reason on the list for why the U.S. HAS TO invade Iran.
